Overview

Our client is a leading global commercial property & real estate organisation with a diverse portfolio across sectors including corporate real estate, pharmaceutical and financial services. Based at the HQ of a Global Banking customer in the City of London, this role is a 24/7 “continental” shift position leading a man shift team to deliver planned and reactive services to HVAC and general building services systems.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a shift team on a 24/7 continental pattern.
  • Deliver planned and reactive services to HVAC and general building services systems.
  • Ensure safe, compliant operation of electrical and mechanical systems in a critical HQ environment.
Qualifications
  • Fully qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering, ideally through a full apprenticeship.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a Shift Lead / Supervisor within a corporate or critical HQ setting.
  • Core M&E qualifications; additional training such as 18th Edition, F-Gas, 2391, HV/LV Authorisation is beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of: Electrical & Mechanical Fault-Finding, Single & Three Phase Power, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms, BMS Operation, Sprinkler Systems, Diesel Generators, UPS, AHUs/FCUs, VAV/VRFs, HV/LV Distribution, Water Treatment, Cooling Towers, Pumps, VESDA, Close Control AC & Chillers, Boilers (re-sets).
