Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts who take pride in their impactful work. Contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates

Candidate profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Knowledge of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
