SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site in London, United Kingdom)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions that impact our nation's critical infrastructure. This role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The position is a permanent night shift, Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
  • Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
  • Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolutions
Candidate Profile:

This is an entry-level role suitable for hands-on individuals eager to learn, with experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures preferred.

Key Requirements:
  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre
