Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work to support the nation's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent night shifts, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, CIS screens
  • Attending maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining SISS assets and reporting faults
  • Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
  • Liaising with Telent Service Centre for fault updates and task completion

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy learning and can multitask. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
