Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Critical Services Technician for a 4 on 4 off days shift in London. You will resolve day-to-day work orders in critical client environments and support asset risk mitigation in high-stakes facilities.

The role requires a safety-first mindset, the ability to follow procedures, and logging of all activities. You will work within a team, contribute to preventative maintenance, and ensure uptime and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 or equivalent in BS7671 electrical regs.
• Meet physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting 50 lbs+.
• Good communication and basic computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Qualify and act as an appointed Authorized Person within 6 months from onboarding.
• Maintain an up-to-date log of work completed and outstanding items.
• Ensure contractors and staff comply with company, client safety, and security requirements.
• Participate in the critical services training program.
• Ensure effective communication with the client and management team.
• Operate as a team with other technicians to resolve operational problems.
• Provide holiday, training & sickness cover for other shift members.
• Track and complete Critical Services Planned Preventative Maintenance.
• Log and action all out-of-line situations with incident reports.
• Follow defined procedures; limited discretion under supervision.
