Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Technical Services Manager or similar engineering leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Experience managing statutory obligations across large estates.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and standards.
• Experience managing specialist contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across M&E and building services.
• Ensure statutory compliance and governance across the contract estate.
• Support planned preventative maintenance, reactive works and lifecycle projects.
• Review technical proposals, specifications, reports and engineering solutions.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure works are completed safely and to required standards.
• Lead technical investigations, root cause analysis and resolution of complex engineering issues.
• Support audits and inspections while driving continual improvement initiatives.
• Manage technical risk and robust asset management practices.
• Build strong relationships with client representatives, operational teams and supply chain partners.
• Contribute to budget management, forecasting and value-for-money initiatives.
