Job summary

ISS Facility Services UK in Weybridge is seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead the M&E and Fabric maintenance on a government-focused R&D campus. The role oversees 24/7 shift engineering teams delivering PM and reactive works on a single site.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Technical Manager, coordinate with the Asset Manager, and ensure faults are resolved, documentation updated in CAFM, and risk managed to meet SLA/KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of engineering teams.
• Strong technical background in M&E and fabric maintenance.
• Ability to obtain Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical shift team and contractors to meet PPMs and reactive works.
• Provide technical reports and evaluate assets and systems.
• Review performance and maintain quality standards.
• Support customer meetings and CAFM documentation.
• Maintain risk registers and support risk management.
• Take corrective action to resolve problems.
• Ensure staff complete PMs and work orders monthly.
• Ensure O&M documents are up to date and accessible.
• Review and update SOPs/MOPs/EOPS as needed.

Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit a Technical Services Manager to lead the M&E + Fabric maintenance function delivered against the end client's key R&D Campus site in Weybridge/Addlestone.

The client are a major Government organisation dedicated to Agriculture and Scientific R&D for purposes of public health.

The site is a multi acre, multi building development, including offices, farms, labs and more spread across leafy Surrey countryside.

Here, as the Technical Manager you will oversee engineering delivered by Shift Engineering teams who operate on a 24/7 basis, working to a PPM regime and providing reactive repairs.

Working alongside other Technical Managers, and being responsible for your portion of the site you will report into the Senior Technical Manager.

This is a fantastic role for an established Facilities Technical Leader, joining a world class site, working for a leading FM provider on a key account.

Actions will include:

• Manage the technical shift team and contractors to ensure all PPM’s and reactive works are completed in line with SLA’s and KPI’s
• Provide technical reports and evaluation of assets and systems on the customers sites
• Review and evaluate performance and ensure quality standards are being met
• Support daily update meetings with customer
• Support the Asset Manager by ensure the team provide the correct documentation and uploads to the CAFM system
• Maintain a risk register for areas of responsibilities and support the wider risk management and mitigation
• Take corrective action to resolve problems
• Understand the Owner’s building operations rules for the building(s) under care and as provided by the Account Director
• Make Task assignments as needed for Work Tickets and Preventative Maintenance Work Orders for the O&M Team
• Ensure staff complete PM’s and work orders as scheduled each month
• Ensure the Operations & Maintenance Documents (Documents Library) of Drawings, O&M manuals, Site Operators Manual, etc. are up to date and neatly stored and easily and readily retrievable
• Review, edit and maintain SOPS/MOPS/EOPS as appropriate for site operations
