GH Engage seeks a senior Critical Engineering Manager to lead operations at a high‑reliability mission‑critical facility in Romford, Essex. You will drive maintenance, safety, compliance and continuous improvement while managing a multi‑discipline engineering team.

Key responsibilities include platform incident response, asset lifecycle planning and capital project delivery, acting as a senior technical authority across critical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC qualification in Engineering.
• Proven experience leading engineering or maintenance teams.
• Experience in mission-critical, highly resilient or business-critical facilities.
• HV/LV and/or Mechanical Authorised Person experience desirable.
• Strong knowledge of PPM, compliance, asset management and engineering risk.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and engineering budgets.
• NEBOSH and professional engineering membership desirable.

Critical Engineering Manager – Mission Critical Facilities Management

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Critical Engineering Manager to join a prestigious client-side organisation, taking responsibility for engineering operations at a highly resilient, business-critical facility in Romford, Essex.

This senior Mission Critical Facilities Management position will take responsibility for the safe, compliant and resilient operation of critical building infrastructure. The Critical Engineering Manager will lead and develop a multi-skilled engineering team, ensuring 24/3 reliability while driving maintenance standards, compliance, safety and continuous improvement.

You'll oversee planned and reactive maintenance, critical incidents, Safe Systems of Work, specialist contractors and engineering budgets, while contributing to asset lifecycle planning, plant optimisation and the delivery of minor works and capital replacement projects. You'll also act as a senior technical authority across critical engineering systems.

The successful Critical Engineering Manager will have a strong technical background and proven experience leading maintenance teams within Mission Critical Facilities Management environments. Requirements

• Minimum HNC qualification in an Engineering discipline

• Strong Electrical and Mechanical building services knowledge
• Experience within mission-critical, highly resilient or business-critical facilities
• HV/LV and/or Mechanical Authorised Person experience highly desirable
