Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (ESHT) is seeking a Clinical Support Worker/ Critical Care Technician (Band 3) to join the Conquest Critical Care Team at Conquest Hospital in Hastings. You will provide essential technical support for critically ill patients and assist with equipment, documentation and patient care.

The role is part-time (34.5 hours per week) including nights, days and weekends, with a pro rata salary of £25,760–£27,476 per annum.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 or Functional skills
• 5 GCSE grade 4 or C and above or equivalent
• Relevant NHS experience
• Ability to follow instruction from registered professionals

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks within the department
• Support stock management and distribution of stores
• Prepare and decontaminate Critical Care equipment
• Assist with documentation and patient diaries
• Provide technical support in assessment and management of Critical Care patients
