As part of the NCA Critical Care single shared service, you'll work collaboratively across our Critical Care Units to ensure safe staffing, continuity of care and patient safety. This includes opportunities for cross-site working, offering variety, professional development and the chance to be part of a truly integrated Critical Care team.
Bring your clinical expertise to a role where it truly makes a difference.
Using your knowledge, and experience, you will take responsibility for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of high-quality care. You will act as the named care provider for a defined group of patients while contributing to the safe, effective care of all patients across the unit.
You will play an active role in the organisation and management of clinical activity, supporting the smooth running of the ward and ensuring clear, communication at all times. You'll be a visible source of support and guidance for junior staff, and newly qualified colleagues as they develop confidence in their role.
You will contribute significantly to the learning environment, whilst helping to embed a positive culture of learning and professional growth.
Working in line with evidence-based practice, you will deliver expert nursing interventions for individual patient needs, applying specialist knowledge and skills.
Collaboration is key -- you will work closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team, making appropriate referrals to ensure holistic, patient-centred care.
You will deliver compassionate care to patients and their families, respecting privacy, dignity and individual needs during often challenging circumstances.
