Job summary

Healthcare 21 UK is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service Critical Care equipment across the South. You will install, calibrate, maintain and repair medical devices, delivering safe equipment performance and uptime.

Travel in the UK, on-site service, and collaboration with clinical teams are key aspects of the role. You will develop specialist competence in the predominant product branch and work across HC21 portfolio with appropriate training and safety training completed.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic capability across electrical, electronic, mechanical, IT and software-controlled systems.
• Competent IT user, comfortable with laptops, diagnostic software and digital service platforms.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and make sound decisions in clinically sensitive environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, calibration, fault diagnosis and repair on equipment after training.
• Provide primary technical support for predominant product branch and expand to wider HC21 portfolio.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimise disruption to clinical services.
• Provide first-line diagnostics and technical support by telephone, remote access or customer liaison where appropriate.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions and regulatory requirements.
