Job summary

Band 6 Crisis Practitioner – SOLAR within Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. You will carry a defined caseload, provide nursing and therapeutic interventions, and work with children, young people and families.

You will conduct comprehensive risk assessments, plan care, coordinate with schools, social workers and other services, and ensure smooth transitions to other Solar teams. The role emphasizes coproduction with service users and carers.

Qualifications

• Must hold nursing qualification and be registered to practice.
• Experience in risk assessment and safeguarding in child mental health.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
