Do you have experience as a carer or support worker and are seeking a new challenge in a rewarding and unique role?
Vision for Education is recruiting a passionate Criminology Graduate to fill the position of Youth Worker at one of our partner schools in York. The school is responsible for guiding young offenders aged 10-17. The students often come from deprived backgrounds and may have behavioral, learning, social, emotional, or mental health difficulties.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate confidence and resilience when engaging with students. A background in criminology and relevant experience would be highly advantageous. The main responsibility will be to intervene during difficulties and guide students to understand the causes and consequences of their actions.
Pay ranges from £89 to £95 per day, with hours typically from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
