Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking Criminology graduates to support students in a secondary school in Ashington, Northumberland. You will help with behaviour, safeguarding and promoting positive learning, gaining practical experience for careers in youth justice, policing or teaching.

Role offers weekly pay, access to CPD training and long-term opportunities, with dedicated consultant support throughout your placement and a pathway to a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting students one-to-one and in small groups.
• Ability to help students regulate emotions and make positive choices.
• Experience with SEMH, ASC, ADHD and additional learning needs is desirable.
• Experience using positive and restorative approaches to behaviour management.

Are you a Criminology graduate looking to gain practical experience before a career in Youth Justice, Probation, Policing, Social Work, Educational Psychology or Teaching?

Protocol Education is recruiting motivated Criminology Graduates to support students in a successful secondary school in Ashington, Northumberland. This is an exciting opportunity to use your understanding of behaviour, safeguarding and the social factors that influence young people's lives while making a genuine difference every day.

The Role

As a Criminology Graduate, you may work as a:

• Behaviour Support Assistant
• Pastoral Support Assistant
• SEMH Support Assistant
• SEND Teaching Assistant
• Inclusion Support Assistant

You'll gain invaluable experience by:

• Supporting students on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
