Qualifications

• Interest in criminal law and eagerness to learn
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Organised and able to prioritise tasks
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Previous legal or administrative experience desirable but not essential
• Strong academic background

Responsibilities

• Attending conferences with clients and counsel
• Liaising with clients, courts, police stations, and other agencies where required
• Assisting solicitors with administrative and case preparation tasks
• Answering and managing incoming telephone calls professionally and efficiently
• Maintaining and updating client files to ensure they are accurate and compliant
• Monitoring, organising, and keeping up to date with case correspondence
• Data input and organisation across the firm's case management systems
• Managing documents and ensuring records are stored correctly and securely
