Bindmans LLP, a leading London law firm, seeks a Paralegal for its Criminal Law team to provide general support to fee earners. The role supports SQE-qualifying work experience and may lead to a Training Contract after 12 months for LPC route qualifiers.

The role includes legal research, witness interviews, drafting statements, handling evidence, and liaising with clients in prison, with supervision from senior fee earners.

Competenze

• Criminal law and human rights law experience are essential.
• BVC/LPC completion and paralegal experience in criminal law desirable.
• LAA accreditation to undertake police station work is an advantage.

Mansioni

• Support fee earners with case preparation and legal research.
• Interview witnesses and draft statements for cases.
• Process evidence, and prepare, collate and order documentation.
• Apply for legal aid funding and attend clients in prison.
• Attend conferences and court appearances, stay updated on legal and funding developments.
