Job summary

Morgan Hunt is seeking a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker for a Croydon office-based role. You will manage a caseload, produce court reports, and deliver recovery-focused support within the substance misuse and criminal justice sector.

This is a 3-month temporary assignment, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (37.5 hours). Immediate interviews available; experience in Criminal Justice or a strong Substance Misuse/Recovery background is preferred. Training is provided and good onboarding is ensured.

PAY DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE - UMBRELLA

• Less than 12 months: £16-£18ph
• 1-3 years: £18-£20ph
• 3+ years: Up to £22ph

We're looking for a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker to join a well-established substance misuse charity in South London.

The ideal candidate will have Criminal Justice experience, although they would also consider someone with a strong Substance Misuse / Recovery background who has a good understanding of the criminal justice system.

You'll be working with:

• Prison leavers
• Referrals from Probation
• Court referrals
• Clients with substance misuse and complex needs

A key part of the role will be producing reports for the courts, alongside managing a caseload, completing assessments and providing recovery-focused and harm-reduction support.

The role is based from the Croydon office, with regular visits to two local courts, both within walking distance of the office.
