Clayton Legal is assisting an established regional law firm seeking a Criminal Defence Solicitor to develop expertise, build a career, and join a well-regarded team.

The firm is open to candidates at different stages of their career, from NQ to experienced solicitors, with opportunities in police station and Magistrates' Court work and a supportive environment across Shropshire.

Qualifications

• NQ upwards: A qualified Solicitor looking to build a career in Criminal Defence.
• Criminal Defence experience: Ideally, experience managing a criminal caseload, although applications from NQs will also be considered.
• Duty Solicitor status: Desirable, but not essential.
• Strong client skills: Someone who enjoys working directly with clients and building trusted relationships.
• Career ambition: A solicitor who is motivated to develop their skills and establish themselves within an experienced team.

Responsibilities
