The successful applicant will utilise their expertise and experience to handle a complex caseload of criminal matters, whilst providing first-class representation at police stations.

Responsibilities

1. Attending police stations
2. Representing clients detained in police stations
3. Representation in the Magistrates’ and High Court
4. Advocacy
5. Extradition
6. Murder and manslaughter
7. Burglary and robbery
8. Drug offences
9. Fraud
10. Rape
11. Sexual offences
12. Road traffic offences
13. Interviewing witnesses
14. Drafting witness statements

The Candidate

1. Solicitors with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE
2. Crime duty accreditation is essential
3. Able to manage a demanding caseload with minimal supervision
