Job summary

Moxy Edinburgh is recruiting a Receptionist/Bartender (Crew Member) to welcome guests, assist with check-in/out and create a friendly, fast-paced service environment that makes guests feel at home.

You will help guests, operate F&B outlets, handle payments, prepare food, maintain cleanliness, and support other crew members while promoting the Moxy brand and Marriott Bonvoy program.

Qualifications

• Experience within the service industry.
• Knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and/or Micros.
• Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws.
• Personal travel industry experience.

• Manage hotel room inventory and checking guests in/out the Moxy way.
• Operate Food & Beverage outlets the Moxy way.
• Manage all bills and payments correctly.
• Prepare food, clean, tidy, restock, take deliveries and organize BOH areas.
• Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely.
• Supporting other Crew Members and follow direction from Crew Leaders.
• Promote and support the Moxy brand & the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.

Gross salary: £13.13 per hour

Main Tasks & responsibilities

• Helping guests and creating positive experiences
• Manage hotel room inventory and checking guests in/out the Moxy way

• Clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)
