Allianz Trade Specialty Credit is seeking a Credit Associate / Underwriter based in London to oversee and steer its credit portfolio across funded and unfunded transactions. The role requires experience in Corporate Finance and/or Structured Credit, and involves close collaboration with a global team and regional hubs in London, NY, Singapore, and Paris.

Qualifications

• University degree, ideally Masters level.
• 3–5 years of experience in Structured Finance, Trade Credit Insurance, Banking, ECAs or Multilaterals.
• Strong analytical skills including ESG and political risk; experience in transactional analysis.
• Proficiency in reviewing and commenting on loan documentation.

Responsibilities

• Pre-screen and identify bankable projects to grow the insured portfolio.
• Review and monitor credit transactions and conduct risk analysis.
• Maintain active risk monitoring and propose mitigations for the existing portfolio.
• Coordinate with origination on deals and participate in market calls/meetings.
• Make underwriting decisions within approved risk authority or escalate to Credit Committee.
