Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Analyst in the Credit Risk Middle Office in the United Kingdom.

You will onboard new and existing asset management clients, assess risk profiles, and support credit lines to enable client activity, particularly for derivatives trading and custody services. • Entry level or experience in reporting, financial analytics, or a related role.
• Desire to develop expertise in the investments universe and risk management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyse documentation (prospectuses, factsheets and financial accounts) to understand fund and client investment strategies, structure, and restrictions
• Identify and elevate potential risk concerns, including indicators of alternative investment strategies, to support appropriate limit and documentation decisions
• Investigate and complete client write-ups to support approval as eligible counterparties
• Collaborate with lines of business to align client objectives with our risk framework and operating model
• Create negotiation requests for legal documentation that facilitates trading activity
• Perform annual reviews to ensure credit limits and risk ratings reflect the latest available financial information
• Improve processes and controls to strengthen operational efficiency, including through responsible use of emerging technologies
