The Financial Risk Team manages IG Group’s credit, market, capital, and liquidity risk profiles end-to-end. They develop and deploy industry-standard risk models to inform policy, enforce it, and report to various committees including the Risk Committee, the Executive Risk Committee, and the Board Risk Committee.
As the owner of the credit risk profile for the Group, we seek a Credit Risk Manager to innovate our approach to institutional/corporate client credit risk. This involves rebuilding our credit assessment process for our diverse global clients and implementing ISDA agreements to replace our standard Client Agreement. Experience in this area is essential.
The successful candidate will work within a small (6-person) London-based team with significant exposure to senior management. They will present policy changes at the Risk Committee and collaborate closely with the Head of Client Credit Risk, Sales & Trading Teams, and Credit Operations.
We adopt a thoughtful hybrid working model with 3 days in the office to balance collaboration and connection.
