HSBC Group is seeking a GCB5 Credit Risk Manager to support the HSBC Innovation Banking UK Wholesale Credit Risk Management team. You will oversee wholesale credit portfolio activity, prepare materials for senior forums, and manage ECL forecasting and governance.
The role offers hybrid working with exposure to senior management and cross‑regional risk discussions. The ideal candidate has strong credit risk experience, data literacy, and the ability to present to executives.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Credit Risk, this is a GCB5 Credit Risk Manager role in the HSBC Innovation Banking UK (HINV) Wholesale Credit Risk Management (WCRM) team. The HINV WCRM team is responsible for a broad spectrum of credit activity, outside of day-to-day lending decisions. The team liaises with senior management in HINV and regional WCRM to ensure appropriate oversight of the portfolio, escalation of issues and engagement with relevant credit topics. The successful applicant will work closely with the Senior Director, Credit Risk on all aspects of WCRM. Key development benefits of this role include:
