This role is with an emerging bank in the UK, seeking an autonomous and independent professional to take a vital position within the Modelling function.

Key Responsibilities

1. IFRS9 Model Development & Monitoring: Take ownership of the design, implementation, and ongoing performance monitoring of IFRS9 models across various credit portfolios.
2. Impairment & Forecasting: Lead the monthly IFRS9 impairment provisioning process and deliver forward-looking impairment forecasts to support business planning, budgeting, and climate stress testing.
3. Audit & Governance Compliance: Act as the subject matter expert for IFRS9 model audits, ensuring full adherence to internal governance frameworks, policies, and regulatory standards.
4. Team Leadership: Manage and develop a junior analyst, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
