Job summary

Crown Agents Bank is a UK-based bank delivering cross-border payments and FX solutions to emerging and frontier markets. The role sits in the Credit & Country Risk function, focusing on end-to-end risk management across lending, payments, FX and trade-related activities.

The candidate will assess creditworthiness of borrowers and counterparties, monitor risk indicators, and contribute to process automation and governance improvements in a fast-growing, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a commercial/numerical subject.
• Experience in financial services, banking, rating agency, treasury or accounting, preferably in emerging/frontier markets.
• Strong credit analytical ability and knowledge of banking products from a credit risk perspective.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of credit applications and reviews for new/existing clients (FIs, NGOs, corporates).
• Monitor counterparty credit risk, limit utilisation and exposure movements.
• Support administration and monitoring of the credit portfolio to minimise losses.
• Analyse and periodically review key emerging/frontier market country risks.
• Contribute to streamlining and automation of risk processes and tools.
