Job summary

Cumberland Farms is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to join our Transaction Shared Service Centre. The role focuses on assessing customer creditworthiness, managing exposure, and handling credit insurance and guarantees to protect the business and enable growth.

Working alongside the Credit Manager, you will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers, contribute to risk reporting, and participate in continuous improvement projects within Credit Management.

Qualifications

• Genuine experience in credit risk analysis and managing exposure
• Strong ability to review financial statements and credit data
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers using financial data and credit bureau information
• Set, review and monitor customer credit limits and exposure across the portfolio
• Manage trade credit insurance, guarantees and security as required
• Review aged debt and drive proactive actions to mitigate losses
• Prepare credit reporting and risk analysis for management
• Maintain accurate credit records in ERP systems
• Support debt recovery activities when needed
• Contribute to continuous improvement within Credit Management
