Part Time Credit Controller

The Part Time Credit Controller will work 2-3 days per week at our Redhill office, primarily responsible for maximizing cash flow and minimizing bad debts across a selected range of clients for the following companies: dmg events (UK) Ltd, dmg events Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, dmg events (USA) Inc, dmg Nigeria events, and dmg events (Canada).

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

1. Debt-chasing on accounts receivable ledger via telephone, email, and letters to ensure adherence to company policy of payment prior to exhibition.
2. Flexibility to work international hours around events to maximize debt collection.
3. Maintaining accurate records of customer communications in the Credit and Collections module of the finance system for queries or legal actions.
4. Handling account queries efficiently to reduce bad debt risk.
5. Responding to or referring internal and external queries promptly.
6. Traveling to other offices and overseas events to collect debts and communicate with stakeholders and customers.

Ideal Candidate:

• At least 1 year of experience in a finance department, with experience handling international payments and in the events industry preferred.
• Deep knowledge of finance systems, especially Salesforce and FinancialForce.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
