TipTopJob is recruiting a Credit Controller for an office-based role near Barton-upon-Humber. You will manage the sales ledger, own aged debt and provide monthly reporting.

You will proactively chase overdue balances by phone, email and letter while building strong relationships with customers to secure prompt payments. The role supports a busy finance team and offers a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Control / Accounts Receivable.
• Strong telephone skills and confidence chasing outstanding payments.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.
• Organised and able to manage a busy workload.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the sales ledger.
• Own aged debt and provide monthly reporting.
• Chase overdue balances by telephone, email and letter.
• Build relationships with customers to encourage prompt payment.
• Investigate and resolve payment and account queries.
• Process secure payment receipts accurately and promptly.
• Allocate customer payments and update accounts.
• Set up new cash and credit customer accounts.
• Run credit reports in line with company policy.
• Manage queries received through the shared Accounts Receivable inbox.
• Support the wider Sales Ledger and Credit Control function as required.
• Work proactively to reduce debtor days and improve cash collection.
