Global Fire and Security Systems is hiring a Credit Controller on a fixed term maternity cover at our Nottingham headquarters (NG2). You will manage debt collection, cash allocation and credit administration to keep the ledger healthy.

• Experience in credit control and debt collection.
• Excellent customer service skills.

• Proficient IT skills including Sage and Excel.
• Ability to solve problems and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing queries from customers promptly and communicating with customer service and sales to resolve these
• Chasing overdue invoices via telephone and email
• Take a proactive role in managing and collecting debt and ensuring overdue debt is kept within targets set
• Cash allocation ensuring that cash is allocated daily and accurately to maintain up to date ledger
• Review credit applications and run credit check reports
• Raising credit approval notes and processing credit notes
• Produce and issue monthly statements to customers
• Providing support to the senior credit controller
• Other ad hoc duties as require
