Job summary

SF Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy manufacturing ledger on a temporary rolling contract in Nottingham. The role is fully office-based with 37 hours per week, offering a salary around £28,000–£30,000 dependent on experience. Start date is ASAP, parking is available on site.

You will manage end-to-end credit control, chase payments, and handle export ledgers for overseas customers, aiming to improve cash collection and minimise overdue debt.

Qualifications

• End-to-end credit control experience in a busy ledger.
• Experience handling high-volume invoicing and collections.
• Proactive debt collection and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end credit control across a busy ledger.
• Chase outstanding payments and ensure terms are met.
• Handle ~30 invoices per day for UK customers.
• Own export ledger and manage overseas debt.
• Resolve payment issues and liaise with customers.
• Keep accurate customer records and up-to-date ledgers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account issues.
• Drive proactive cash collection and minimize overdue debt.
