Job summary

Kennedy Pearce Consulting is seeking a permanent Credit Controller to own a book portfolio, run collections efficiently and maintain FCA-aligned processes. The role includes daily reporting, agency liaison, and cash allocations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in credit control, experience with leasing/financial services is a plus, and strong MS Office skills with excellent communication. Hybrid working and pension are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' credit control experience in a B2B environment.
• Experience/knowledge of leasing and financial services is advantageous, FCA environment knowledge.
• GCSE English and Maths grade B or above.
• Strong systems skills including Microsoft Office.
• Well organised with ability to prioritise a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Daily credit control via telephone, letter and email in line with collection cycle.
• Produce daily arrears report and report to senior stakeholders.
• Manage external debt collection agencies.
• Manage litigation cases as required.
• Update customer records with direct debit mandates.
• Process daily direct debit collections and cash allocation.
• Handle customer queries and complaints promptly.
• Produce monthly arrears report for Board reporting.
