Job summary

ISQ Recruitment LTD in Westbury, Wiltshire is recruiting a Credit Controller to manage customer accounts within a busy finance team and help maintain cash flow. The role focuses on credit control, accounts receivable processes and timely payment collection.

You will interact with customers and internal departments to investigate discrepancies, allocate payments and resolve queries, with a comprehensive benefits package and clear opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing customer accounts, aged debt and payment collections.
• A sound understanding of credit control and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with cash allocation and account reconciliation.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Confident communication skills and a professional approach to payment discussions.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A discreet approach to confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts and review credit limits in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor aged debt and follow up overdue invoices by telephone and email.
• Secure payments while maintaining professional customer relationships.
• Allocate incoming payments accurately and reconcile customer accounts.
• Investigate invoice disputes, payment differences and account queries.
• Work with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
• Identify higher-risk balances and maintain clear records of collection activity.
