Credit Controller Opportunity in Rotherham

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading business in the Rotherham area to find a confident and knowledgeable Credit Controller. This role supports a period of business change and growth. It is initially temporary for approximately 3-6 months, with potential for permanency for the right candidate. Both Full Time and Part Time hours will be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Credit Control professional with proven debt collection and account reconciliation skills who can start immediately in a stand-alone position.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensuring customers pay within their agreed payment terms
2. Chasing outstanding payments via email, letter, and phone
3. Processing card payments
4. Allocating payments
5. Setting up new customers
6. Sending copy invoices as required
7. Scanning, renaming, and filing sales invoices

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a credit control role
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to build effective internal and external relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks
• Good listening and negotiation skills with customers
