Job Title: Temporary Credit Control Administrator

Location: Central Durham. Hybrid – 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home

Contract: Temporary – 3 months

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (35 hours per week)

Start Date: ASAP

Hourly Rate: £13.65

We are currently recruiting for a Credit Control Administrator to join a busy and dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative and credit control experience to hit the ground running in a hybrid role, offering both flexibility and the chance to contribute to an essential service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver front-line administrative services within a busy credit control environment
  • Make outbound calls to customers to collect overdue payments and resolve any queries effectively
  • Manage workload and deadlines under pressure while maintaining high quality and accuracy
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the delivery of high-quality services

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience working in a credit control or similar finance environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confident in outbound customer communication, especially in recovering overdue debt
  • Ability to work proactively as part of a team

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and systems, including Microsoft 365, email, ERP systems, and communication platforms
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to offer clear advice and guidance
