Job summary

E & M Talent Partners Ltd is actively supporting a client in South Leeds to appoint an experienced Credit Controller on a temp-to-perm basis. The role sits within a settled team led by an experienced Credit Control Manager who prioritises staff development and mentorship.

You will manage your own ledger, chase outstanding debt by phone, email and letter, handle queries, and allocate payments to accounts. Onboarding new accounts and conducting credit checks are also key duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume credit control function.
• Experience chasing debts via telephone, email and letters is essential.
• Ability to onboard new accounts and perform basic credit checks.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for your own ledger and chase outstanding debt via phone, email and letter.
• Handle queries and take payments, allocating them to the correct accounts.
• Onboard new accounts including carrying out credit checks and approvals.
• Monitor accounts, set limits, and place accounts on stop or hold when required.
• Maintain debtor reports including aging of debt and escalation as needed.

E & M Talent Partners are proudly supporting a key client based in South Leeds who are looking to appoint an experinced Credit Controller on a temp to perm basis.

You will be joining a highly competent, and settled Credit Control team under the stewardship of a vastly experienced Credit Control Manager who takes staff development and mentorship very important.

The responsibilities you will be tasked with performing are traditional Credit Control duties:

• Takes responsibility for your own ledger
• Chase outstanding debt via telephone, email and letter
• Handle queries
• Take payment and allocate to accounts
• Onboarding of new accounts including carrying out credit checks
• Monitor accounts including limits, putting accounts on stop and hold
• Maintain debtor reports inc age of debt

Ideally you will have a minimum of 1yr experience in a high volume Credit Control function and be able to start a new position at short notice.

This is a full time role, 8.30am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday and you are required to be in the office every day (no remote working).
