Job summary

Alexander Lloyd Limited is seeking an experienced Credit Controller for Horley on a hybrid basis. The role involves managing a large ledger, debt collection, reconciliations, and customer disputes in a fast-paced finance team. Immediate availability is essential for this temporary contract of up to 3 months.

You will chase overdue debts by phone and email, post cash receipts, perform reconciliations, and build strong internal and external relationships to hit targets.

• Strong telephone collections experience.
• Ability to manage and resolve problem accounts quickly.
• Available to start at short notice; resides within 45 minutes of Horley.

Credit Controller | Horley, Surrey | Hybrid | Temporary role - Must be available immediately

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team based in Horley on an initial contract of up to 3 months.

This is a hands-on role managing a large ledger, taking ownership of debt collection, resolving account queries, posting cash receipts and completing reconciliations. The successful candidate will be confident working independently and able to build effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

To Be Considered, You Must Have:

Previous Credit Control experience within a medium to large organisation

Experience managing a large, high-volume sales ledger

Strong telephone collections experience

The ability to manage and resolve problem accounts effectively

Availability to start at short notice

Living within a 45 minute radius to Horley

Location: Horley (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days home)

Contract: Up to 3 months
