The Role

• Liaise with customers regarding overdue payments, issuing reminders, and working to resolve outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate records of customer credit accounts, payment history, and credit limits on the system.
• Set up new supplier accounts.
• Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales orders, quotations, and customer correspondence.
• Manage customer credit limits and accounts.
• Assist in processing sales orders, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a point of contact for credit-related or sales support issues.
• Handle customer queries related to orders, delivery schedules, and product availability.
• Perform general administration tasks.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a credit control role.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAGE 50 accounts is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
