Job summary

Reed is seeking a proactive Credit Controller to join our finance team on a temp-to-perm basis with an immediate start available. The role focuses on chasing payments, reconciling accounts and resolving payment queries to support the month-end close.

The ideal candidate will have experience in credit control, strong communication skills and proficiency with Excel and Sage. You will work independently and manage workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous credit control experience preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Sage.

Responsibilities

• Chase outstanding payments by phone and email.
• Manage customer accounts and resolve payment queries.
• Investigate and resolve invoice disputes with Account Managers and internal teams.
• Set up payment plans where required.
• Escalate overdue accounts when necessary.
• Support month-end finance activities.
• Complete daily banking reconciliations.
• Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
