Job summary

Eaton Syalon Limited is seeking a proactive Credit Controller for a temporary role based in Derbyshire with hybrid working. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, drive cash collection, and maintain accurate records in the credit management system.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 400–500 customer accounts and collect balances in line with payment terms.
• Maximise cash collection while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Record all customer interactions accurately in the credit management system.
• Assess customer creditworthiness and support credit risk management.
• Monitor accounts to minimise bad debt risk and review trading activity.
• Work with Sales and Distribution to resolve account issues and support growth.
• Investigate and resolve customer account queries promptly; reconcile accounts as needed.
• Process customer card payments and monitor daily banking receipts.

Credit Controller

Eaton Syalon are seeking an organised and proactive Credit Controller to join our client on an on-going temporary basis. The role will be temporary for a minimum of 6-months.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 400 - 500 customer accounts, ensuring outstanding balances are collected in line with agreed payment terms
• Maximise cash collection while maintaining positive customer relationships
• Record all customer interactions accurately using the company's credit management system
• Assess customer creditworthiness and support effective credit risk management
• Monitor customer accounts to identify and minimise the risk of bad debt
• Review customer trading activity and manage accounts that exceed agreed credit limits
• Work closely with Sales and Distribution teams to resolve account issues and support business growth
• Investigate, log and resolve customer account queries in a timely manner
• Reconcile customer accounts where required
• Process customer card payments and monitor daily banking receipts
