Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Credit Control Administrator to join their Chepstow team on a hybrid pattern. You will proactively chase payments, perform credit checks, issue invoices, and support cash flow reporting in a busy finance environment.

The role offers 37.5 hours per week, an initial 3-month fixed-term contract with potential to extend or go permanent, and a salary of £30,000 per annum. Immediate start available for suitably experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or a similar Finance Administration role.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise workloads.
• Proactive approach to resolving customer queries and payments.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage outstanding customer balances and chase payments to ensure timely collection.
• Contact customers to confirm payment dates and resolve queries.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal departments.
• Carry out credit checks on new and existing customers.
• Issue monthly customer statements and invoices.
• Upload invoices to customer portals and maintain records.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial reporting.
• Liaise with Sales and Finance teams to resolve payment issues.
• Escalate overdue accounts where necessary.
