Job summary

Vibe Recruit is actively recruiting a Credit Control Administrator to join a well-established business based in Chepstow. The role offers hybrid working (2–3 days in the office) with an immediate start on a 3-month fixed-term contract that could extend or become permanent.

The successful candidate will manage overdue balances, perform credit checks, issue statements, and collaborate with Sales and Finance to resolve queries, with opportunities to develop into a longer-term role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or similar Finance Admin role.
• Excellent communication skills with a confident professional telephone manner.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise workloads.
• Experience with accounting/finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage outstanding customer balances and chase payments to ensure timely collection.
• Contact customers to confirm payment dates and resolve queries.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Carry out credit checks on new and existing customers.
• Issue monthly customer statements and invoices.
