This is a key role within the finance function, with responsibility for managing the debtor book, driving cash collection, reducing overdue debt and ensuring the business maintains strong and effective credit controls.
Reporting into the Finance Director, you'll have plenty of visibility across the wider business and will work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Sales and Customer Service.
We're looking for someone who can combine strong hands on credit management experience with the ability to lead, develop and motivate a team.
You'll take ownership of the day to day credit control function, with responsibilities including:
We're looking for an established credit professional with previous experience managing a credit control function and leading a team.
You'll need to be confident taking ownership of a busy debtor book, dealing with complex or challenging accounts and building effective relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers.
Experience within FMCG, food, manufacturing or another high volume environment would be particularly advantageous.
A CICM qualification, or someone currently working towards one, would also be beneficial but is not essential.
You'll be commercially minded, confident working with data and comfortable identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
Location: Poole
Contract: Permanent, full time
Working pattern: Office based, Monday to Friday
