Job Description:

SF Recruitment is supporting a manufacturing business based in South East London seeking a Credit Control Manager to join them at short notice.

The business has recently been acquired, and the CFO is looking for a 'hands-on individual' to work closely with to drive short-term collections and streamline the credit control process.

Location: London (current offices in Dartford, moving to central London around Oct/Nov)

Start: ASAP

Duration: 3-5 month contract, with the possibility of permanency

Hybrid Working: 2–3 days/week in office (initially more during setup)

• Manage and build a credit control team (3 Credit Controllers)
• Drive collection of approximately £3–4m in older debt within a debtor book of around £8m
• Establish credit control processes, policies, and reporting frameworks
• Collaborate with CFO and MD on contractual settlements
• Take over from an underperforming shared service center based in India

Note: Immediate availability and ability to work locally in Dartford and London are required due to the urgency of the hire.
