Job summary

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Accounts Assistant focusing on Credit Control for a well established Freight Forwarder based in the Colnbrook area. The role involves reconciling customer accounts, chasing payments, processing day-to-day transactions, and producing monthly customer statements.

You will also reconcile supplier accounts, handle supplier payments and refunds, and input company expenses, with standard Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control and accounts reconciliation.
• Proficient with accounting software, preferably Sage.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise deadlines.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Credit Control - reconciling customer accounts and chasing for payment.
• Processing day-to-day transactions.
• Customer Accounts reconciliations.
• Production of customer statements on a monthly basis and reminder letters, when required.
• Supplier Accounts reconciliations.
• Process supplier payments and any refunds.
• Inputting company expenses.
