As a Credit Card Journey Manager, you will manage and own the Barclaycard new customer onboarding journey, collaborating with multiple teams across the bank to enhance customer experience. Your focus will include tracking open account performance, analyzing decline reasons, and identifying optimization opportunities to develop the acquisition journey.

Essential Criteria
  • Product management experience, utilizing agile delivery methodologies to improve customer journeys.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver growth targets and plans, including managing project work and prioritizing change backlogs.
  • Experience working with stakeholders and data to identify and resolve customer pain points.
Valued Skills
  • Ability to create long-term strategic plans.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience with Private Banking or Wealth Management is advantageous.

This role can be based in London, Northampton, Manchester, or Glasgow.

Purpose of the Role

To drive the success of the commercial banking segment through market analysis, product development, sales, relationship management, risk management, and performance monitoring.

Accountabilities
  • Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape, identify trends, and develop strategies to increase market share.
  • Create pricing models for products and services that balance profitability and competitiveness.
  • Develop and manage innovative financial solutions aligned with bank objectives, including loans, cash management, and trade finance services.
  • Forge strategic partnerships to expand product offerings and reach new client segments.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and recommend solutions.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, set targets, and identify channels to reach potential clients.
  • Monitor performance metrics such as client acquisition, loan volume, revenue, and market share to evaluate segment performance.
