CBC Recruitment Solutions is assisting a UK SME asset finance business in Manchester to hire an experienced credit underwriter. The role focuses on B2B risk-based underwriting for new finance applications involving large credit lines.

Working on a Vendor Model, applications come from Contract Hire companies and Dealers in the Materials Handling sector, typically £500k+ in value. You will need a mandate of at least £500k and experience in hard asset finance.

Our client is the specialist wholesale lending division of a highly respected UK SME asset finance business. They are currently looking for an experienced credit underwriter who will be responsible for providing effective, timely and commercial B2B risk-based underwriting on new finance applications for end users requiring a larger credit lines.

Working on a 'Vendor Model' all applications will come from both Contract Hire companies and Dealers in the Materials Handling sector, and will typically be of a value of £500k + so the successful candidate will have held a mandate of at least £500k and will have experience gained in the hard asset finance market.

You will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, the ability to make sound commercial decisions, and to build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
