Qualifications

Responsibilities

Rothschild & Co is looking to recruit a senior credit analyst to join an eight strong analyst team and support the management of a c€7.5bn portfolio of leveraged loans and high yield bonds. The successful candidate will assist or lead new leveraged finance transactions and manage a portfolio of sector based existing credits.

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

• Strong report writing and presentational skills
• Minimum of 6 years working as a Credit Analyst within leveraged finance at either a leading fund manager or investment bank, who is capable of appraising complex non-investment grade transactions.
• Experience in the software and/or technology sectors would be looked upon favourably.
• Ability to understand, appraise and analyse leveraged loan and high yield bond documentation
• Highly numerate and quantitative, including extensive experience of financial modelling within leveraged finance
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships between individuals, teams and lines of business
• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate clearly, persuade and influence; good listening skills
• A pro-active approach and flexible attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative and reliability
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Enthusiasm and drive to develop skills
