Job summary

South Eastern Regional College is hiring a Creche Assistant Register at Newcastle Campus. Hours vary; Band 3, SCP 5-6, £13.63-£13.85 per hour.

Reporting to the Creche Manager, you will deliver high-quality childcare and education for students' children, work independently and with colleagues, and use ICT for records. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and two years' childcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development or Playwork.
• Two years recent experience in childcare within last 5 years.
• Ability to work independently and with others; good ICT use for record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality childcare and education for children of SERC students.
• Work independently and with colleagues to support daily creche activities; maintain records using ICT.
