Electrify Video Partners is a dynamic new digital media company that invests in and scales established Creator companies. Our mission is to turn creators into global media businesses by building teams, scaling the production and distribution of their content and introducing new revenue streams across platforms. We acquire between 50% and 100% of creator business and have raised multiple funding rounds and have existing revenue streams.

About the role

The Creator Partnerships Manager will own, build and maintain our Partnership pipeline, working closely with the Director of Creator Partnerships and with the Co-CEO to grow our new creator business investment opportunities. Excited and knowledgeable about the creator economy, and equally comfortable with both strategy and execution, you will identify individual creators and creator businesses that are an attractive target and then reach out and connect with the owners.This role plays a critical part in expanding our channel portfolio, positioning our business in the creator economy and uplevelling our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage data and internal tools to identify new creators and creator businesses that fit with the Electrify vision.
  • Grow and build our pipeline via email, social media and other channels, including cold prospecting, initiating and nurturing relationships for Electrify.
  • Develop creative ways to break through digital clutter to market our business to and engage with creators.
  • Achieve monthly quotas of outreach to qualified opportunities.
  • Manage partnership pipeline operations, leveraging our CRM as well as trackers and other documentation to ensure we are systematic in our approach to building and nurturing opportunities and reporting an accurate view to our stakeholders.
  • Actively keep a pulse on emerging creators and trends through various social media channels and tools.
  • Collect and communicate key channel information to help inform outreach as well as to inform strategic positioning, prioritisation and decision making.
  • Contributing to Electrify's social media presence and thought leadership in the creator economy.
  • Provide regular feedback and insight from Creators to the Electrify team on our proposition and other important considerations in the Creator Economy
  • Actively contribute to the strategic and operational framework for the Creator Partnerships team, consulting on or building initiatives to increase our impact

Skills and experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience in talent management, account management or partnerships
  • Experience working directly with digital native talent in a talent relations / management / agency capacity
  • Excellent communication skills, and experience both pitching persuasively through to providing proactive internal updates
  • A hunger and tenacity to identify and connect with creator businesses
  • Familiarity with sales strategies, processes and best practices across the sales lifecycle, including CRM management
  • Understanding of the social and digital landscape, global competition, and audience trends
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at once with strong organisational skills, showing initiative as well as collaborating effectively
  • Experience making business decisions based on data
  • Detailed understanding of how to create successful content on YouTube and key metrics for success on YouTube and other IP generating platforms, as well as in creator business evaluation.
  • Experience working as part of a high-growth start-up
  • Experience working across different geographies and cultures
  • Comfort leveraging AI tools and related workflows.
